Children’s Safety Education Resources

April 1, 2009

Research Sites Restoration Ltd (RSRL) recently supported local schools within Oxfordshire and Dorset by supplying them with ‘Play, Stay and Keep Safe’ resource books, issued by the Children’s Safety Education Foundation.

The books were given to children between the ages of 7-11 to form part of a vital safety educational programme, proving children and young people with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to avoid the risks they may face in their everyday lives. The safety resources include topics such as: bullying, first aid, road safety, fire safety and drug, alcohol and solvent mis-use and have been designed with the co-operation of the emergency services, child protection experts and teachers.

Alan Neal, Managing Director for Research Sites Restoration Ltd, said “This initiative complements our philosophy of being community focused. It supports the local community by helping to provide young children with access to educational safety programmes”.
