Winfrith Site Stakeholder Group Meeting

The Winfrith Site Stakeholder Group was held on Thursday 23rd April at the Winfrith village hall. Presentations were given by Andy Staples (RSRL), Andrew Davies (NDA), David Hanratty (NII) and David Prescott (EA). An informative DVD was shown, which explained the operation of the WETP (Waste Encapsulation Treatment Plant) at Winfrith. Sandra Ellis chair of the meeting explained "this meeting gives stakeholders and local neighbours the opportunity to be informed about what is happening on the site and to ask questions directly to all of those involved with day to day operations".
