NDA and USA fact finding mission

NDA's, Ron Gorham and United States Department of Energy's, Merle Sykes and Jay Rhoderick visited Harwell in June to learn more about the sites decommissioning achievements and prioritisation issues within a constrained budget.
Alan Neal provided an overview of RSRL and a site tour, whilst Duncan Rogers of Goodmans gave a presentation on how the site is being re-used and redeveloped. The visit was completed with a tour of Dido where Ed Abel talked more about the work undertaken at Harwell in the site's early years and the decommissioning plans for Dido.
Alan Neal commented "this was a good opportunity to show the NDA and US DoE the good work being done at RSRL and the potential future development of previously licensed areas of the site"
