RSRL helps keep telephone kiosk in Winfrith village
January 20, 2010
Residents and visitors to Winfrith village can continue to communicate thanks to Research Sites Restoration Ltd (RSRL) who recently agreed to sponsor the telephone kiosk.
Sandra Ellis Chair of the Winfrith Parish Council wrote to RSRL after they were told their telephone box was going to be removed unless they found a sponsor. RSRL have a small donations budget which can help the areas surrounding the Winfrith site so were delighted to step in and save the kiosk.
Sandra commented “After some research we found that the box is in regular use by visitors and residents as the mobile reception in this area is not good. Members of the Parish Council did not want to take away this vital lifeline so were delighted when RSRL agreed to sponsor the kiosk, thank you”.
