Students from Surrey University visit Harwell

On the 3rd March students from the University of Surrey visited the Harwell Site to learn more about Radiation and Environmental Protection and Radiation Detection and Instrumentation. In the morning, the students were given presentions by staff at Nuvia on their work in radiation protection. In the afternoon, the students benefitted from tours of Harwell facilities; DIDO Reactor; Building 551 laboratories; ADS laboratories and Building 466 storage pond/cobalt store.
