Integrated Project Team (IPT) visit Winfrith

Andy Haas hosted a visit earlier this month from The Integrated Project Team (IPT) looking at the Interim Storage of High Active Waste (HAW). The group also visited Inutec facilities at B45 to get an idea about cemented waste sample storage. Inutec then gave a presentation on their company and the service it provides.
This was followed by the business of the day for the IPT group understanding corrosion in stored waste packages and working towards developing industry guidance for package storage conditions.
A presentation on EAST and WETP was, followed by a tour of the Treated Radwaste Store and a visit to SGHWR, where the decommissioning work already undertaken and processes used was explained by Andy.
