B462 - 475 cans of remote handled waste have been processed to date in this financial year. RM2 active commissioning is nearing completion. The NII have accepted the Vault Store Pre Operational Safety Report and granted the license instrument for full operations.
The main pad foundations to the new 462 reception building will be poured on Tuesday,
7th December.
B220 - The team has disposed of two 227-litre drums of unusable polymer. Good progress is being made in the clear-out of B220.32.
BoSS & ERR - Harwell
B413 - The decommissioning of the building is continuing to the base slab.
B459 - The teams have submitted the B459 re-categorisation Safety Case to the NII for approval.
LETP - The HLA Sludge Processing team has completed the secondary plank move from Tank 5.3 to Tank 4.4. The LETP team has now completely demolished the 18E pump house and 30 bags of waste have been generated for removal. Four drums of Whessoe sludge waste have been encapsulated this week, bringing the total number to five.
