EAST - The second access into Tank 4 has been completed and the diamond wire cutting of access into Tank 2 has commenced. Decontamination of blocks removed is continuing in parallel.
WETP - Post operational clean out of WETP is continuing with removal of all items from the cell line now complete. Gridding of the cell line in preparation for the pre-demolition radiological surveys is underway. Decontamination of tanks in the process area has commenced.
ALES - Painting of active sea tank No 1 has been completed. The Solid waste team successfully completed the removal of 600 bags of exempt residual material, finishing the work ahead of schedule with the last skip leaving on the 24th of November.
