Nuclear Assurance Board visits the LETP

During December the Nuclear Assurance Board toured the Liquid Effluent Treatment Plant at the Harwell Site, where they were given a brief resume of the current effluent treatment operations and an explanation of the decommissioning strategy needed to cease offsite discharges to the River Thames - and to prepare the site for future de-designation.
