Harwell Gates Open for NDA CEO

Tony Fountain, NDA CEO, visited the Harwell site on Friday 8th April. During his visit Tony viewed the Eastern Area site which has now been opened up following the completion of decommissioning work that has allowed the site security fence to be moved inwards. Tony was also given a tour of the Harwell site and visited RM2 waste recovery operations in B462.
The picture shows Tony Fountain and Mike Calloway, NDA, with Alan Neal and Ken Heider at the old Harwell Main Gate. After decades of having a police presence at these iconic gates, RSRL's successful decommissioning programme has allowed the police gate to be moved closer to the centre of the site.
