Local Stakeholder Group

Representatives of the Harwell-Chilton Campus Local Stakeholder Group recently toured the Liquid Effluent Treatment Plant (LETP) at Harwell. Project Manager Alec Inns gave an overview of the LETP’s responsibilities, followed by an insight into the nature and phasing of the decommissioning programme.
During the evening meeting Alec Inns gave a more detailed report on the LETP, with Harwell Closure Director, Ken Heider presenting a general overview of RSRL's programme. Gareth Thomas gave the Annual Safety Report followed by the Annual Environment Report by Graeme Stonell. These were followed by updates from the site regulators and campus organisations via reports and organisational newsletters.
