RSRL Hosts Skills Academy

On the 13th July RSRL hosted the South East & East Regional Steering Group of the Nuclear Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN).
As a member of NSAN we play an active role by working with other members to ensure that the academy delivers the needs of the large SE & E region. The increasing cooperation between all parts of the industry is evident with representatives from decommissioning (Magnox & RSRL), MOD (AWE), power generation (EDF), nuclear new build (EDF & Horizon) and construction companies such as Balfour Beattie, BAM Nuttal and Lang O’Rourke.
The Group also includes frequent representation from Government skills funding bodies, the Nuclear Sector Skills Council (Cogent), Regional Universities and colleges and many organisations working to develop the UK skill environment.
