NDA visit the Winfrith Site

RSRL recently welcomed some senior NDA visitors to the Winfrith Site.
Mark Lesinski (NDA Executive Director - Delivery) and Adrian Simper (NDA Strategy Director), as shown in the picture above, were shown many of the decommissioning projects achieved to date. One of the facility visits included the Dragon reactor led by RSRL’s Steve Withers and Tony Smith. Whilst there the visitors were shown the Dragon model, the work already achieved and were explained what was left to do.
Tony Fountain (Chief Executive NDA) visited Winfrith on the 19th August accompanied by Andy Staples (RSRL Operations Director) and Dave Rushton (NDA Programme Manager), their visit included a presentation on the history of the site and a tour of the EAST project and SGHWR. Chair of the Site Stakeholder group Sandra Ellis joined the party for lunch. Feedback from the visits was positive and the enthusiasm , knowledge and commitment of the staff was positively commented on.
