NDA Shared Service Alliance

In 2008/2009 the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and the Site Licence Companies (SLCs) established a Collaborative Procurement (CP) initiative focusing on aggregating demand in commodities and medium complexity services. In consequence a number of CP Framework Agreements were placed covering a range of Business Services and consumables, which have delivered savings and other benefits to the SLCs and the suppliers. NDA and the SLCs have built on this early success by increasing the scope of the CP programme and continue to work together to tender collaborative opportunities.
